I was raised on guilt as well. ...Enjoyed your post. I was raised on guilt as well. It's a good way to manipulate. My daughter became an addict and there was a lot of guilt in that one. I was sure it was something that I did to cause it, but as time has gone by, I have tried to work through all that. Guilt can show up at either end of addiction, and it can drive your life if you let it. That is great that you are raising guilt free kids. I feel like I raised mine the same way. Take care.Cathy Taughinbaughhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15833583122196520782noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1958057397876971565.post-58772597243289784682012-03-01T17:59:18.779-05:002012-03-01T17:59:18.779-05:00Oh, I was raised on guilt to! High five to you sis...Oh, I was raised on guilt to! High five to you sister! Guilt was a tool I used for munipulation, but when I through all those heavy stones in the lake(my sixth step) guilt was the biggest, and the heaviest. I made sure it sank. I don't feel guilty about much anymore. Its a waste of valuable energy and at 43 I seem to need all I can get. You are a joy to read, very funny, and honest. I'm glad you are in blogger world, and awesome job at raising your kids in a "guilt free zone". Do me a favor and extend that graciousness to yourself as well!drybottomgirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10702877045042502693noreply@blogger.com
